prairiehamster: Last time I went down past Mall of America, I got myself a panda at build a bear, put it in a miliary uniform, and named her Colonel Judy Falcone. This time around, I decided she needed a nemesis so I went with a koala, named Detective Sheila Yamaguchi. Because koalas actually immigrated to Australia centuries ago from Japan. And it was 107 degrees yesterday. Oy. We have gone from planning many zoo outings to Pokemon trading in the hotel room. Much more entertaining than it sounds. I did not find my dream animal at Build-A-Bear, but I did find a miniature John Watson gelignite parka, and a pair of Hot Fuzz bear-size aviators. “That’s what I’m talkin’ about.”
