50. Why the fuck are Bridget Jones’ Diary or Mitch Albom on the same list as books that make an effort not to suck balls?
52. And given that I liked about 45 of those, the rest seem like good suggestions to add to the to-be-read list. Anyone know where this list comes from, or the source of the (bizarre) statement that ‘six is the average’?
It’s from the UK a few years back. I think it was originally the results of a BEST BOOKS EVAH poll. I don’t remember who ran it - the BBC or the Times or some shit.
